At Helix Interiors Ltd, we believe a kitchen should be more than just visually impressive—it should work effortlessly for everyday living. Our recently completed project in Weymouth perfectly demonstrates how thoughtful design and high-quality materials can transform a space.
This Scandinavian-style kitchen forms part of an exciting redevelopment at the Sunray Pub, where 14 beautifully designed holiday accommodation plots have been created. Each kitchen was required to strike a careful balance between durability and style—offering a premium look while withstanding regular guest use.
For this project, we designed and supplied a contemporary kitchen featuring reeded-style doors in a rich Coffee Supermatt finish. The subtle texture of the reeded fronts introduces depth and character, while the deep tone adds warmth and sophistication. Paired with clean lines and a minimalist approach, the overall aesthetic remains modern, elegant, and uncluttered.
The worktops are finished in Carrara quartz, selected for both its timeless appeal and practical benefits. The soft veining complements the darker cabinetry beautifully, creating contrast without overwhelming the design. Quartz is also highly durable and low-maintenance—making it an ideal choice for a busy holiday environment.
To maintain a seamless look, integrated appliances were incorporated throughout the design. Concealing key elements within the cabinetry ensures a streamlined appearance while still delivering full functionality for a comfortable stay. The layout has been carefully considered to maximise efficiency within the available space, allowing guests to cook, dine, and relax with ease.
Natural light from the large window enhances the overall atmosphere, highlighting the textures and finishes while creating a bright, inviting environment. Thoughtful details such as open shelving and coordinated fixtures add personality without compromising the clean aesthetic.
