Helix Interiors Ltd were delighted to secure this Traditional beaded shaker kitchen project, having been selected ahead of strong competition to deliver what stands among the largest and most refined installations we have completed in recent years. From the outset, the brief called for a kitchen that combined striking scale with meticulous attention to detail, resulting in a space that is both highly functional and unmistakably luxurious.
At the heart of the design lies an expansive L-shaped kitchen, carefully planned to maximise both flow and presence. A statement Smeg range is paired with a 120cm canopy hood, forming a bold focal point that anchors the room. This is complemented by an impressive central island, generously proportioned to provide both a social hub and a practical workspace. The island incorporates a prep sink and an advanced boiling water tap, seamlessly blending everyday convenience with elevated design.
A defining feature of this installation is the extensive use of built-in storage, thoughtfully integrated throughout to maintain clean lines while offering exceptional capacity. The cabinetry is constructed using premium oak carcases, ensuring durability as well as a warm, natural interior finish that reflects the quality of the craftsmanship behind the scenes. Every element has been carefully considered to balance aesthetics with longevity.
The work surfaces further enhance the sense of understated luxury. Leather-effect Imperial Black quartz worktops have been selected for their rich texture and depth, extending into a full-width splashback that creates a seamless, cohesive visual statement. This material not only elevates the overall design but also delivers outstanding performance for daily use. Matching window sills and pantry base detailing provide a subtle continuity, tying the entire scheme together with precision.
Beyond the main kitchen area, the project includes a dedicated built-in storage wall, a separate pantry, and a beautifully executed butler’s pantry-style coffee station. These zones have been designed to support modern living, offering discreet organisation while maintaining the elegant flow of the space. The pantry areas, in particular, showcase both practicality and craftsmanship, with carefully planned layouts that maximise accessibility and efficiency.
As with many bespoke projects of this calibre, the journey from concept to completion involved numerous tweaks and re-iterations. Each adjustment was made in close collaboration with the client, refining the design to ensure every detail aligned perfectly with their vision and lifestyle. This iterative process is central to our approach, allowing us to deliver a truly tailored result that feels both personal and considered.
The finished kitchen is a testament to thoughtful design, skilled craftsmanship, and a commitment to excellence. It is a space that not only meets the demands of everyday living but also provides a sophisticated environment for entertaining and enjoying, reflecting the very best of what Helix Interiors Ltd strives to achieve.
